This camp is for the gamers. Kids will spend the whole week playing games. We will spend a max of 3 hours per day with electronics (computers, consoles, and tablets) and the rest of the time we will play with board games, card games, and breakout boxes.
Important: This is a gaming camp. Kids will spend the whole day playing games. Many of the games are actually educational, and we do offer challenges for the kids, but some of them will just be having fun! We offer Game Design, Game Development, Escape Room, and other camps where kids can learn how to make their own games, but they will just be playing them in this camp.
This camp is for kids who were in grades K through 8 during the 2018-19 school year. For this camp, we split kids up by age, but might move them around depending on what games they’re allowed to play.
This camp is Monday through Friday, 9am-4pm. Before and after care may be available for an additional cost.
Kids should bring the following with them each day:
- A nut-free lunch and snacks
- A water bottle
During this camp, kids can use game accounts on the computers. We cannot create accounts for your kids. Kids should have their login information memorized and written down for reference. Need to create an account?
- Minecraft account (requires a purchase of Minecraft: Java Edition): https://minecraft.net/en-us/store/minecraft/
- Roblox account (free): https://www.roblox.com/
- Fortnite (free, for now): https://accounts.epicgames.com/login
When you drop your child off, we will have forms for you to fill out your child’s account information (if needed), and indicate which games they are allowed to use and/or play. If your child does not have an account, or is not allowed to use a specific game, we will provide alternate activities.
