YouTube Stars & Animators Club – Monday Homeschool
October 15 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 12:30pm on Monday, repeating until June 10, 2019
Create amazing animations, legendary “let’s plays,” impressive interviews, top-notch tutorials, challenges, and much more. This is a self-paced club, as kids will be working on their own projects, but we will run the kids through the basics at the start of each session, and go a bit more in-depth at the beginning of each month.
After kids learn the basics, they will spend their time planning, storyboarding, scripting, practicing, recording, and editing their animations and videos.
This club is appropriate for kids in grades K-8. YouTube Stars & Animators Club meets on Mondays, 12:30-2:00pm. Sign up for a monthly membership, and we will adjust the renewal date to correspond with the next club meeting. We no longer have drop-in sessions available for pre-registration, but do usually have walk-in space available for kids who want to stay for the entire 90-minute session. Just pay the $25 drop-in fee when you arrive.
Important: Some of the videos kids will record might require a Minecraft, Roblox, and/or Fortnite account. We cannot create accounts for your child, so after a child plans a video that includes one of those games, we’ll make sure you know which account they might need. Some accounts do require a purchase with the provider of the game.
Each student needs a USB headset with microphone for this class. We very highly recommend this one: http://amzn.to/29e7B72. We know that particular headset works every time with our hardware and software. If you want your child to use a different headset, please make sure it’s USB, and not 3.5mm headphone and microphone jacks. Please make sure your child’s headset is clearly labeled with his or her name on it, and bring it to and from class each week.
Want to see if this club is right for your child? Sign up for a free Preview Session. Your child will spend 30 minutes working with the rest of the class, while you get a tour of the facility and an overview of our programs.
