Join us for up to 4 hours of after-school STEAM fun on Wednesdays, March 15-April 12 (NO CLASS April 5) in the Fellowship Hall at Prince of Peace Church in Crofton! Kids can participate in one or more of the following classes:

• 3-3:50 pm – Minecraft Bedrock Club – Kids will complete individual and group builds using Minecraft Bedrock edition (on tablets). Kids will need their own Minecraft accounts to join the private servers. If you have parental controls enabled for their account, please allow them to join multiplayer servers before each class. Kids who come to this club straight from school can get started early.
• 4-4:50 pm – Escape the Club – During the first session, kids will work together to solve breakout boxes, which are like an escape room in a box. They will spend the following 4 weeks designing and testing their own breakout boxes for the rest of the class to try.
• 5-5:50 pm – LEGO Robotics Club – Kids with no experience using the LEGO robotics sets will spend the first 2 weeks learning how to build simple, programmable LEGO machines. In weeks 3 and 4, all of the kids will be encouraged to complete challenges to test their skills.
• 6-6:50 pm – YouTube Stars Club – In this version of YouTube Stars, kids will learn how to create non-gaming videos. For the March session we plan to create group challenge and how-to videos.

You must register in advance for each individual club. Your child’s ticket can only be used for the clubs and weeks registered. Unlike our previous clubs, some of these build on lessons each week, so we encourage your child to attend every session, and we do not offer make-ups.

If you are within walking distance from Prince of Peace Church and want your child to be allowed to walk or bike home without an adult, you must complete the release before the first class. The release is specific for each 4-week session and must be completed each time you register your child for a new session.
