AACPS is closed for the week, and by popular demand, we will be open! Let your kids join us for a day, or more, of Minecraft & More. Kids don’t just spend the whole day playing mindlessly on the computers. We sneak plenty of STEAM learning into each day, both on the computers and in our “crafting” sessions. Some of the activities we’ve done at past camps include:

• Learning how to code, both in and for Minecraft
• Designing structures in Minecraft, and then printing them on our 3D printer
• Creating SLIME, which isn’t exactly like the cubed slime in Minecraft, but it’s still fun
• Dyeing shirts, much like how they dye wool and leather in Minecraft
• Learning about circuits in both Minecraft and real life
