School is Out Mini-Camp – Minecraft & More – Fall 2016

$10 – $75AACPS is closed for the day, and by popular demand, we will be open! Let your kids join us for a day, or more, of Minecraft & More. Kids don’t just spend the whole day playing mindlessly on the computers. We get plenty of STEAM learning into each day, both on the computers and in our “crafting” sessions. Some of the activities we’ve done at past camps include:
- Explore the solar system, without leaving Minecraft
- Designing structures in Minecraft, and then printing them on our 3D printer
- Creating SLIME, which isn’t exactly like the cubed slime in Minecraft, but it’s still fun
Plus, kids don’t have to just play Minecraft, or do Minecraft-themed activities! We can also do stuff like:
- Play with Snap Circuits
- Program robots
- Play any of the many other games (computer, console, tablet, board, card, etc…) we have available
- Watch music videos and have a dance party
This camp is appropriate for kids in grades K through 7.
