February 11, 2020 @ 3:50 pm - 4:50 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 3:50 pm on Tuesday, repeating until March 17, 2020

Let’s learn to code! In this class for absolute beginners, kids will learn basic programming concepts such as algorithms, sequences, repetition, events, debugging, and conditions. We will cover these concepts by creating fun animations and games in Scratch.

We will meet on Tuesdays, 3:50-4:50pm, February 11-March 17.

This class is only for students in grades 2-5 who attend Forest Ridge Elementary School. Please do not register if your child does not meet that criteria. Students will meet in a classroom, TBA, immediately following dismissal from school.

Important: We will need at least one parent volunteer to run the class. If you are available for some, or all, of the sessions, please let us know! Volunteers will receive a prorated refund of the class fee, depending on how many sessions they volunteer.
