Gamer Club: Platform Games

This one-night club is always a hit with the kids. They’ll spend the evening playing, and making, games. We will start off with some pizza, and talk about platform games. Then we’ll move into the lab, where the kids will play several popular side-scroller and platform games. The kids will use paper and pencil to draw out their best concepts for a platform game, and then we’ll move into the build phase. After the kids have built a game, they can share it with the rest of the class to play.
Send the kids hungry! We will provide pizza, snacks, and drinks. This class is kids-only, and recommended for ages 7-13. Sorry parents, but we’ll teach you to build your own games another time.
