Coder Kids – Summer Camp – July 8-12, 2019

It’s time to code! This camp is pretty much all code, all the time. Your kids might start speaking like robots after this week… or maybe they really are robots, programmed by your kids, so they can spend more time playing Minecraft?
This is a kid-paced, instructor-supported camp. We will evaluate kids on the first day of camp, to determine their experience and interests. Then kids who are strong readers will work through our self-paced curriculum, where they can learn languages like Scratch, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and possibly Python, Java, and Lua. Kids who aren’t strong readers will play code-readiness games, work with ScratchJr, and program some robots. All kids will have an opportunity to work with robots.
When you register for this camp, a Lab Fee of $25 will be added to your cart, to cover the cost of software license fees.
There aren’t any take-home crafts for this camp, as the kids spend so much of their time working on their code.
