Builders Club – Wednesday Afternoons
September 25 @ 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm
An event every week that begins at 12:30 pm on Wednesday, repeating until December 18, 2019
This fun club gives kids an opportunity to do themed builds and challenges with Minecraft. Each month or so, they’ll get a theme, and they will work individually or in groups to build something that fits the theme. This is play with a purpose! Kids learn about planning, visual storytelling, and collaboration when they work on their builds. Plus they will learn about Earth science, geography, ecology, history, and even language arts with our fun build challenges.
This club is appropriate for kids in grades K-8. If we have enough kids, we will split them up into age-specific groups.
Each participant for this club will need a Minecraft: Java Edition account. We cannot create accounts for your kids, but we can help you create one when you bring your child to the office. If your child has an account, make sure he or she knows the username and password. We suggest writing them down for your child, just in case. Parents/guardians should plan to stay for the first 10-15 minutes of the first session, to make sure their kids are able to log in to their accounts.
