We offer one-day “Mini-Camps” throughout the school year, when AACPS is closed, and week-long summer camps throughout the summer break. Children in grades K-8 are welcome, and our average age is usually right around 9 (3rd grade). Kids will be split into groups according to age and experience level.
At mini-camps, kids will spend the day doing activities from up to two of our weekly clubs (robotics, coding, etc…). They’ll get a lunch break in the middle of the day, as well as snack breaks.
During summer camps, kids will work primarily on their project(s) for the week. Please see the individual camp descriptions for more details about the projects. We try to make the projects extremely fun, so kids will want to work on them throughout the day.
At all camps, we make a very strong effort to limit screen time to a maximum of 3 hours per day. For some camps, kids might need to work on the screens a bit longer, when they are programming, doing research, etc…
Snacks & Lunch
Unless otherwise specified in the event description, we typically do not provide food or drink for kids. Kids should bring nut-free lunch and snacks, as well as a water bottle.
